No excuses

Motivation gets you started. Discipline keeps you going.”

When it comes to your individual fitness success, consistency is everything.

Taking ownership rather than pointing the finger at everything around you and wasting all your energy on drumming up excuses will make all the difference in the world

You are not not a product of your circumstances. Create your circumstances. Busy? So are the rest of us !! Make it a priority and the daily business is just something we work around. No longer an excuse

Workout seem not challenging? Put effort into it!!! Push yourself. This is a big one. You can have the most efficient and well laid out program but if you don’t put effort into what your doing it really won’t matter. That’s up to you. No one else

Surrounded by not as many nutritious options as you’d like?? Change it. Start purchasing more nutritious offerings. Accept that there may always be a box of goldfish in the house but if that’s not part of your plan then make up your mind to not eat it. No one is forcing food into your mouth except you. Again , your responsibility.

Have way too many weekend plans that consistently throw you off?? Change it or learn that we don’t socialize with the intent of eating as much food as possible. We are at functions for the social aspect not the food.

Some people view over eating or that ever present excuse of “oh it’s cheat day”—-ugh-as an indulgence of ones self, however it is I face more reflection of how you respect yourself. It is a moment of tremendous let down and anything but a commitment to your own well-being and goals. Be honest and ask yourself : Why would I be able to commit to a lifestyle change if I’m not already consistently, committing to myself and goals? Your relationship to food is a reflection of your relationship to yourself, as is everything in your life. There’s no reason to think that you’ll be capable of follow through to a diet until you address your basic flawed thought pattern towards yourself.

And the list goes in and on and on

Regardless of the activity you choose, you have to be consistent. You have to do it over and over again before you see any results.

Many of us start off the same way; we have tons of fitness motivation, but soon we find ourselves slacking off.

The point is is that you have to be responsible and take ownership of your actions. If you cannot do this then things will simply stay the same. Stagnation.
